Everyone has a hater. If your really blessed, you have more than one. That's ok though. Let me tell you why. When Jesus was taken before pilot, the initial questions were answered by Jesus, however, when Pilot asked " 13Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? 14And he answered him to never a word;..." I once thanked my haters for being a part of my largest fan club... but I've since learned that to even acknowledge the foolishness that goes on is to give it life. You see by ignoring it, I'm saying "you're not apart of my destiny (Bishop Jakes) Anything that is not a part of where I'm going, does not deserve any attention.
When there is so much inside of me that I'm trying to birth, why give life to a dead thing by responding. When pilot asked Jesus didn't He hear what they were saying against him, He did not acknowledge or justify anything related to behavior that was not a part of his destiny. Earlier, the governor had asked if he was the "king of the Jews" and he responded.... that was an answered that pertained to his destiny. What people were saying other than that about him had nothing to do with the purpose he was fulfilling. So, 'he answered them not".... not one word did he use to address the unimportance of their accusations... It had no bearing on his purpose (why he was here) or his destiny (where he was going).
So today, it's "death to the haters". Not a horrible, agonizing death.. But one as silent as Jesus was when .... "he answered them not..."
